Networking meeting for Primary Independent English Advisers (Birmingham, December 18th 2019)
Becca Cosgrave (Lead primary English adviser with Babcock LDP) is hosting a meeting for Independent English Advisers in Birmingham on December 18th, in order to give freelance advisers the opportunity to get together and network. It is funded by Babcock who are kindly paying for the cost of the venue and for lunch for everybody.
The day will roughly take the shape of a speaker in the morning who will talk about the impact and lessons learned from the first round of the new Ofsted Framework, followed by a free lunch laid on and then in the afternoon there will be the opportunity to network and share ideas and resources.
They have chosen the date of December 18th as it is hopefully a time when most advisers will be free and it has nothing to do with the fact that the Birmingham Christmas market will still be on if you need to do any late Christmas shopping!!!
The venue has not yet been confirmed but it is likely to be close to Birmingham New Street to give people the option of travelling by train if they find that easier.
